The Opportunity
Haiti is a beautiful country full of resilient and strong people. As they struggle through this darkest of hours, there is an opportunity to not only to rebuild a nation but to empower a people.
REHABILITATION: CLEANUP, HOME REPAIR AND TRANSITIONAL SHELTER
To clear the way for home repair and new construction, Luv for Haiti will mobilize local Haitian volunteer groups and provide them with tools—such as shovels, wheelbarrows and crowbars—to remove debris and salvage materials that can be recycled for new shelter.
RECONSTRUCTION: BUILDING HOUSES
As conditions in Haiti allow, Luv for Haiti will begin replacing destroyed homes with houses. The houses will be small, well-constructed, permanent structures with provisions for water and sanitation.
Additionally, if you wish to make a tax deductible donation you know that your dollars are being spent to support the rebuilding of an orphanage in the city of Leogane and to supply the people of Leogane with much needed relief items.
